There's a perfectly good reason why I'm here to blog =]

Hello =]

Here goes my first post! Just for the record I probably won't be much good at this.. but I'll do my best. As I've said in my profile, there is one factor of my life which virtually never leaves my mind - morning, noon or night - ROCK MUSIC! I can't get through the day without listening to it, spend most of my time checking out band sites, and drive my mum up the wall every wednesday as we commence the weekly hunt for Kerrang! Magazine. I also have a passion for literature and writing, and so I'm really keen to make regular blogs reviewing the gigs i've gone to and the new albums that I'm listening to. If I'm being really honest, this idea to post blogs might never have come into my mind had it not been for my AS Results which i received this morning. Having not have done as well as I hoped in my English Literature exam, I have been spurred to try and prove to myself that I am not completely useless and that I might yet have a chance to achieve my dream of working for a magazine such as Kerrang! or Rock Sound. I hope that people might read them and recognize my passion for music, and perhaps leave a comment or two on their way by =]

UPDATE::

After getting my English exam remarked, it turns out they got the marking all wrong and I subsequently moved up two whole grades! Saying that I feel relieved is an understatement.. =]
